HIGHLY DELIGHTED, that’s how we expect customers to be, so if an item does not tick all the boxes then we will, tweak, exchange, if we fail you, you get your money back. This facility is extended to 30 days, longer by prior arrangement, let’s work together to meet your plans. Get the finger size wrong or simply didn’t know it at time of order and we resize free of charge, you merely pay the postage and insurance, currently £14. It’s a next day service, we’ll soon have that ring back on his/her/your finger.

She said no to me

Not a problem, We simply refund 100% back to you


She/He Hates It

Not a problem, You get 100% credit towards the design they love and if we fail to satisfy a 100% refund. You pay return postage and insurance.

Wrong Size

Not a problem, the first resize is free and it’s a next day service, you simply pay the postage and insurance both ways. We’ll soon have that ring back on his/her finger.  Tip: Don’t get hung up on size and ruin the surprise trying to establish the right size before purchase, take an average size and let’s sort it out after presentation.

Loves It, But, too high, too low, not quite right, would prefer

Not a problem, that’s a tweak, usually a free next day service (assuming no extra metal or materials required). We are happy to accommodate tweaks and simple modifications without further charge for the first hour of labour. Most required changes can be executed within an hour.

Loves the diamond hates the design I picked

Not a problem, we’ll swap the diamond into the design they love, if they design is more, you pay the difference, if less we refund the difference.

Wants a square diamond, I bought round

Not a problem, we’ll simply exchange it for a diamond that meets his/her needs with a 100% credit against your original purchase. There’s nothing to lose.

I bought platinum, they want 18ct. yellow gold

Not a problem, we’ll remake in the preferred metal, with a 100% credit against your purchase, which may mean refund or small balance to make up, depending on which metal is more expensive.

 I approved a bespoke design you did for me, but want to change it

Not a problem, we are happy to accommodate tweaks and simple modifications without further charge for the first hour of labour. Most required changes can be executed within an hour. We obviously do require payment for extra labour and any extra metal, diamonds, alternative design work or other materials required to meet your needs.

Caveats

If we have designed the piece especially for you then by law you have no entitlement to a refund. However DG are happy to provide a some flexibility, let’s work together.

  1. The item(s) can be returned and a refund of the purchase price will be give minus a 15% restocking fee.
  2. Full credit to be used against a new design from us of the same or higher value.
  3. Remodelling to a different design- we would just charge any additional design, labour and material costs.

Returning an Item

Should you have reason to return the piece for any reason then you must organise and pay for insurance and secure cover to our door. This safe passage and cost of return is your responsibility, do talk to your insurers. Return all the original packaging. You may be liable for the replacement cost of the packaging and collateral material. For example, the diamond certificate is unique and carries a £125 replacement fee. Call before returning items. Any unauthorised, improperly packaged, or non-insured packages will be returned to sender. Items that have been damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return.

Postage and insurance of a valuable item is not cheap, its excellent value, but not cheap. Of course we could add the cost to every ring and proclaim ‘Free Postage’ and we know that is a common practice among our competitors but we feel that is at best, devious and more precisely, dishonest and would ‘tax’ customers that didn’t need or use the service. Our way you pay postage only if you need it. No one expects Marks and Spencer to pay their petrol or car parking costs when they return an item, its exactly the same culture?
