Full Workshop Valet

This is a professional workshop valet, so much more than a slosh around in some cleaning solution by a counter assistant in the back of a shop.

First we ensure that the piece has no damage or weaknesses that may need attention, all settings are checked for damage and realigned, the metal is examined under a microscope of hairline cracks and pitting. The item will then be buffed to remove any scratches and nicks that were received from day to day wear. After buffing the scratches out. your item will be polished with two different grades of polishing paper and that will give your item a smooth surface. To finish your item it will then be applied to the polishing machine and this machine allows our goldsmiths to finish your ring with options from ‘mirror bright’ to ‘brushed satin’. When that is completed, assuming the design of your piece permits, your item will be placed in the ultrasonic cleaner that will remove any traces of polishing compound or fingerprints.

This service is extended to items that are not of our supply:

Simply order the service and we will send you a pack containing everything you need to get your jewellery to us safely including full instructions. You pay for the postage when you drop your packet off at the post office, simple instructions are included in the pack. The pack will arrive in the next available post and in turn we will advise when the item is received here when it is complete and the tracking number back to you.
