At ComparetheDiamond.com (formerly diamondgeezer.com) we are at the forefront of innovation, we like look at things from a different angle and think outside the box, which is why our own in-house team of designers have entered a well known ‘Worldwide Design Contest‘, the competition was created to show off the extraordinary skills of users around the world with a particular piece of design software. For this competition we have designed The Diamond Ring Pull, the ring imitates the ring pull from the coke can and is set with two rubies, one natural round 5. 5mm pigeon blood red Sri Lankan Ruby set on the diamond encrusted tab, with the smaller 2. 2mm natural Ruby rub-set into the side of the ring. The design has a yellow gold trim on the canopy and a yellow gold rub over on each ruby. The pave set round brilliant diamonds come to a total carat weight of 1. 5ct, the tab really is the centre-piece of the design, showing off the larger red Ruby, the 18ct yellow gold trim, and the sea of round brilliant cut diamonds pave-set onto the surface, this is a unique ring design that will not go unnoticed!The tab measures a whopping 16mm wide, giving the largest possible area to show off the blood-red Ruby and carpet of round diamonds, while the shank measures a modest 2. 5mm wide. This really was a labour of love for our team of in-house designers, from concept, to development, to the finished design.
