  • A diamond's weight is stated in carats & points. A point being 1% of one carat
  • Remember carat is a measurement of weight NOT size
  • Weight has the largest impact on diamond price
  • Weight does not effect sparkle
  • BIG is not always beautiful, think quality
  • When ancient man first picked up a diamond in some African river bed, we assume he did NOT say, 'WOW that's big', surely he said 'WOW that sparkles!'
